I’m loving the fact that the nights are getting brighter. This means being able to get out for a walk after work.

Looks like hairdressers will be closed for another couple of months at least so needs must and I had to have a home haircut today. It turned out OK and feels so much better.
The weather was lovely today so it was a lockdown walk back to the park and the lake. I have to say it is lovely but getting a little tedious as this point. Been confined to 5 km since end of December and at least another month to go.
A zoom cocktail evening with friends was a lovely way to end the week. Photos were from the start of the night.
I woke up to a snowy day and the first day I have actually had to leave the house because of an appointment so had to get out. It was nice to escape the village for an essential journey which is now the only way we can leave our village legally.
Since the world closed down, I have become addicted to travel vlogs. Best way to spend Monday night, drooling over Switzerland.
The worst thing about lockdown 3 is that due to working all week and naff weather, I’m not getting outside other than the garden. So today it was nice to get outside exercise and not inside exercise. It was lovely to have these little walking companions as well. Here’s to speeding up time and Spring starting.
I saw the switch on of the Dublin Christmas lights via Facebook Live. I have to say it was hard watching and almost brought a tear to my eye. With restrictions and Covid case numbers stuck, I’m not sure restrictions will be lifted long enough to allow me to travel into town to see them.
The weather this weekend has been awful and with everything in Ireland closed due to lockdown, I hit a whole new low today when my biggest outing was to the petrol station and parcel motel.
Another project turned up in the post today. Perhaps one day, I might actually start one of these projects 🙂
