I saw the switch on of the Dublin Christmas lights via Facebook Live. I have to say it was hard watching and almost brought a tear to my eye. With restrictions and Covid case numbers stuck, I’m not sure restrictions will be lifted long enough to allow me to travel into town to see them.
Today on my travels I came across a random cow in the middle of the Beacon Centre 🙂
Today I headed off for a stroll along Dun Laoghaire Pier. It was still very cold and windy but at least bright and sunny.
A lovely day spent at a museum in Dublin with friends which meant lots of coffee and laughter.
Today I went into Dublin to see some of the New Year celebrations to mark the start of the year of the Rat. It was really well organised and some really good entertainment.
Today I headed out to get the Christmas food shop and it was totally crazy.
My work desk now looks a little festive.
I’m back posting again after another little break. It was lovely yesterday to head into the city for lunch, shopping and Christmas lights.
I discovered new wallpaper on the wall behind my desk today. I like it and it goes well with the other newly painted walls.
A visit to the GP today had me sitting opposite the healthy tree. A good reminder.
