I’m loving the fact that the nights are getting brighter. This means being able to get out for a walk after work.

Today I went to the hardware store and to my delight the coffee shop was also open for takeaway coffee. So I grabbed a coffee and a muffin and picniced in the car. I was not alone. Looking around me there were quite a few people doing the same. This must be the new going out.
Trapped back in the 5km and the boredom of the iso walk. I know it is pretty but after a year of this being my world it can get a little tedious. I was so hoping never to have to return to being limited to 5km but for the next 6 weeks this is life in Ireland.
I’ve been thinking ahead and being optimistic that we may get past Covid and when we do I think a return trip to Sydney will be needed.
Since I last wrote a post a lot has changed. We now live in a world of lockdowns and restrictions due to the Covid-19 pandemic. We have to stay home and only go out when necessary as we minimise the number of people getting the virus. On our daily exercise today we walked around Glendalough. One upside of how we now live is the ingenuity of people and the things that are being created to help people pass the time and still have some fun. The photo today was created using google and 3d imaging which allowed me to pop in a penguin. You can do this simply by using your phone and google and there are a few animals to choose from. I can see me doing this again while in isolation.
Today due to the increase of the seriousness of Covid19 we decided to cancel our trip to Japan. Hopefully there will be next year.
