I just recently renewed my WordPress subscription for another year so I really should get back to a daily entry but with the Covid restrictions still in place and being limited to 5km from the house, not being able to see friends and still trying to keep my sanity in order to work it has proven a challenge. So here I go again, almost the end of the weekend and I did force myself out the door despite the cold and I was rewarded a little with bright sunny days and a little snow. I spent the morning in Glendalough doing a short walk, feeding the birds and generally feeling fairly happy. Amazing what a little sunshine can do. The rest of the day was spent very lazily around the house but now the batteries are fully charged for another week at work.
17-Nov-2020: Almost in Tears
I saw the switch on of the Dublin Christmas lights via Facebook Live. I have to say it was hard watching and almost brought a tear to my eye. With restrictions and Covid case numbers stuck, I’m not sure restrictions will be lifted long enough to allow me to travel into town to see them.
15-Nov-2020: Sunday Outings
The weather this weekend has been awful and with everything in Ireland closed due to lockdown, I hit a whole new low today when my biggest outing was to the petrol station and parcel motel.
09-Nov-2020: Paint by Numbers
Another project turned up in the post today. Perhaps one day, I might actually start one of these projects 🙂
19-Oct-2020: A Return to Hell
Tonight the Irish government announced that we would be returning back to lockdown for a period of 6 weeks. I tried to take my mind off waiting for the announcement by watching TV but failed. I can’t help feeling really negative about the whole situation.
